One of the neatest things about photography is how different people can create such different representations of the same subject. What happens when that subject is literally the exact same photo? This fun video shows the results when over 1,000 photographers edit the same photos.
Coming to you from Nigel Danson, this fun video shows the results when over 1,000 photographers edit the same photos. Danson made the raw files open to download and asked his viewers to submit their creations. I think as photographers, it is very important to spend time not just consuming, but carefully studying the work of other photographers. We take little bits of everything we consume and incorporate it into our personal styles, and if we do not spend time looking at the work of others, our own images can sometimes become a bit monotonous. And even if that does not happen, simply seeing the work of others will give you a new perspective on your own photos and might help you learn some new tricks for your own editing or solve problems you might be facing. I find this particularly helpful when I know I have a photo with potential that I’m unsure of how to edit. Check out the video above to see how the images turned out.
