The Leica Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH. Lens also features a reduced minimum focusing distance of only 45cm. The rotation angle of the distance ring is greatly expanded so that focusing will be precise over the entire setting range.

M-Mount Lens Design

Beyond updated optics, the Leica Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH. Lens also features a refreshed external design matching other Summilux-M Mount lenses.

• The minimum focusing distance is reduced to a notable 45cm, taking advantage of ameras that feature live view or when working with the Visoflex or Leica FOTOS app.
• Integrated retractable lens hood design eliminates the need to carry an auxiliary hood.
• Conventional M bayonet lens mount, with 6-bit encoding, enables using this lens on any M-mount rangefinder camera.
