RICOH WG-80 All-weather Adventure Camera has an extremely Rugged Chassis you can rely on, even in the harshest of conditions known to man.

Worksite-ready

Equipped with a Rugged Chassis ready for the outdoors, with uncompromising water, dust, freeze, and shock resistance essential for construction worksites, the WG-80 also boasts six LED lamps arranged around the lens to provide Lighting for Macro photography.

Macro Lighting

You can now use the Ring Light with adjustable brightness, by turning on the Six LED lights during macro shooting, and you can create a three-dimensional effect or emphasize the contrast with the background, expanding the range of shooting expressions.

The maximum brightness is now about two times brighter than the previous model.

Sharp, High-resolution Images

Enjoy the High-definition, High-resolution image quality offered by a camera with approximately 16 effective megapixels, a lens with 5x Optical Zoom starting from a wide-angle of 28mm*, and image processing incorporating “ultra-High-resolution” technology.

* 35 mm format equivalent

Rugged Chassis ready for the outdoors

The Ricoh WG-80 is designed for every imaginable Outdoor environment and adds to the experience with features such as an Underwater Mode for Underwater photography, and an Outdoor View setting that adapts monitor brightness to ambient Lighting.

Expand your creative horizons with Image Tone

Customize pictures to your subject or your taste with Six Image Tone options, including the new Cross Process feature for photos with the unique coloring associated with cross-processing film development techniques, Vibrant for rich, bright, vivid colors, and Slide Film for dynamic, high-contrast images like those produced by reversal film Ricoh

Shoot a Movie in Full HD

While the Ricoh camera can of course record Full HD (16:9) video at 30 fps, it also offers a High-Speed Movie Mode for recording slow-motion video and an Underwater Movie Mode suited to Underwater Movie recording.

Movie and Underwater Movie modes offer Movie SR (shake reduction), which can be used to reduce the effects of camera shake.

Movie editing features within the camera let you split video or create movie stills from selected frames.

The Ricoh camera’s HDMI connector (Type D) lets you display movies on TVs and other devices.

Outdoor View Setting

The brightness of the LCD monitor can readily be adapted to changes in ambient Lighting conditions for ease of viewing and an improved shooting experience.

Brightness can be increased by up to two steps to make dark areas of the display easier to see in sunlight, or lowered by up to two steps to reduce glare for night photography.

Modes to suit various scenes

The Ricoh camera offers settings suited to every subject, including an Auto Picture Mode that automatically identifies the subject type and chooses the appropriate mode, a Landscape Mode for vivid shots of green trees or blue skies, a Surf and Snow Mode suited to shots backed by brightly-lit beaches or mountain snows, and a Sports Mode for shots of fast-moving subjects Ricoh.

Flash Off/Flash On

In this mode, the camera takes two pictures each time the shutter button is pressed, one with the Flash Off, and the other with the Flash On, letting you concentrate on composition without fiddling with the controls.

Take amazing Macro photographs with the improved Digital Microscope Mode

With Lighting provided by Six LED Lamps positioned around the lens, Digital Microscope Mode supports super Macro photography.

At the default image size of 2M, the Ricoh WG-80 offers up to 6.6× Zoom for astonishing results that look almost like they were taken with a Microscope.

The Ricoh WG-80 offers new image size options of up to 12M * that further enhance the potential of Digital Microscope Mode with pictures that can be printed at large sizes or cropped during post-processing.

The LED Lamps automatically lighten up even during normal Macro photography, ensuring that your subject is always well-lit.

One of the attractions of the Ricoh WG-series is that it lets you shoot from as close as 1 cm (0.03ft), letting you get much closer to your subject than an SLR or smartphone camera.

* Maximum Zoom is 6.6× (combined optical and digital zoom) at the default image size of 2M, 1.8× (Optical Zoom) at sizes of 4M, 5M, and 12M.
