With the 150-500mm lens from Tamron, you’ll be able to create stunning images from a distance with this lightweight telephoto zoom lens, and at the same time, it also allows you to photograph comfortably while doing handheld shots. Key highlights to this high-quality lens include an optical construction that features 25 elements in 16 groups and also utilises special lens elements and hybrid aspherical lens elements to control chromatic aberrations, BBAR-G2 Coating to suppress ghosting and flare from occurring; and a great Minimum Object Distance of 60cm.
It also incorporates a VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) Linear Motor Focus Mechanism to ensure that it constantly delivers extreme high-speed and high-precision movement and ensures exceptionally responsive performance when photographing subjects such as sports, wild birds, vehicles, and wildlife in general. The motor also suppresses drive noise and vibrations during focusing – making it ideal for both stills and video applications.
