0.49 m Minimum Focus
The Tamron 28-300mm VC PZD: a high-power, high-performance zoom lens for full-frame DSLRs – equipped with Vibration Compensation and Piezo Drive
Lighter, more compact and smarter than its predecessor (the A20) this brilliant all-in-one zoom lens is the latest achievement of Tamron’s optical evolution. The Tamron 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD for Canon is great for day-to-day use, with powerful 10.7x magnification, covering an extended zoom range from 28mm wide-angle, to normal, to 300mm telephoto. The state-of-the-art optical design and construction of the lens, together with the advanced anti-reflection coatings, minimize aberrations, flare and ghosting to deliver sharp, crisp, high-contrast images. In addition to its superior image quality the lens also provides noticeably faster, quieter autofocus thanks to the PZD (Piezo Drive). Tamron’s acclaimed Vibration Compensation mechanism reduces image blur caused by camera shake even when shooting handheld in low light
or at the telephone end. The lens features an upgraded cosmetic design and finish, with a sophisticated linear pattern rubber grip on the zoom and focus rings and an elegant tungsten silver brand ring, plus a moisture resistant construction.
